Card sales work two ways: without a Stripe account of your own, SurcoPay takes 8% per sale with card processing included (minimum 50¢ per sale) and pays out to your bank; with your own Stripe account connected, SurcoPay takes 4.5% and Stripe bills you its own processing rates directly. Both are calculated on your product price — never on sales tax, which is yours to remit in full. Refunds return our fee too. Sales through PayPal and ATH Móvil currently carry no SurcoPay fee.
Pro is still in development and does not have a launch date yet. The Free plan is not going away, and its 4.5% is not going up when Pro arrives — Pro will simply be the option that removes it. We will announce it here before it becomes available.
Yes! When Pro launches, you'll be able to upgrade anytime from your dashboard. Downgrading back to Free will also be supported.
No! On the Free plan, you can process unlimited transactions and sell unlimited products. The only limits are those set by your payment providers.
You can issue full or partial refunds directly from your dashboard. Refunds are processed through the original payment provider, and their fees are typically returned to you.
